POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

If you spotted @spacewalk_4k cruising on the @thurstypedaler through Wellington West during TASTE, you were seeing the work of local Hintonburg artist @petrmaur 🚀

Petr transforms everyday public spaces into unexpected experiences through his signature “spacewalks,” blending performance, choreography, and sculpture to make you stop and see familiar places a little differently.

And Spaceman doesn’t just walk! Petr also created an incredible 360° shuttle experience that puts you right inside the journey.

Follow along and explore more of Petr’s out-of-this-world work:

DON’T JUST TAKE A CLASS. MAKE SOMETHING.

This Fall, learn a weirdly specific creative skill from an Artist, Creative or Entrepreneur who actually does it.

COMING UP FIRST:

🎞️ IT’S ALIVE! The Art of Bringing Animation to Life — Mon, Sept 14, 1-5PM
✏️ Storytelling Through Drawing — Tues, Sept 15, 1-5PM
🎬 Short Film Bootcamp — Wed, Sept 16, 1-5PM
✍️ Fundamentals: Figure Drawing — Thurs, Sept 17, 1-5PM
📱 Post Less, Sell More: Social Media for Makers — Sun, Sept 20, 9AM-1PM
🎨 Punch Needle — Mon, Sept 21, 6-8:30PM

Then keep going: acrylic painting, character design, photography, linocut, macrame, graffiti, fine art printing and more.

Pick up a spray can. Carve a print. Make stronger photographs. Build a character. Create something you can hold, hang, print, screen or show off.

No filler. No gatekeeping. Just real tools, practical skills and hands-on studio time at the Urban Art Collective.

Classes are intentionally small, and some require minimum enrolment to run. Explore the full class menu and register through the link in our bio.

REAL SKILLS. REAL TOOLS. REAL WORK.
