Today we helped a farmer harvest 250kg of olives for @leket_israel working to alleviate food wastage and insecurity. It is good for the soul to be of service for those who are in need. #volunteerwork #leket #birthrightisrael #repairingtheworld by @petroffdesign

“On The Wings Of A Prayer ll” expresses my hope for peace. This is a 3-D paper sculpture of a flock of doves, bursting out from an ancient Hebrew prayer, is an adaptation of the butterfly effect. People use this term from chaos theory to describe how a minor choice, like a random act of kindness, or a good thought or prayer can alter the entire course of someone’s life.

We can certainly see the effect of destructive and hateful thoughts all around us. Could you imagine the effect that positive thoughts and warm wishes would have on the world around us??

This piece is on exhibit at @Gina Godfrey gallery until Sept 26. 8.25”x14.25”x5.25” $750 DM me if your are interested in speaking further about it.

I believe it was Brené Brown who said “unexpressed creativity is not benign”. Expressing yourself creatively is a form of self care as important as exercise and eating right. Consider me your personal creativity coach! I am offering two workshop sessions in September in my studio, Intro to Sculpting with paper. Choose from a midweek workshop September 1 and 2nd or a weekend on September 26 and 27th. Class size is limited to six people per session a gourmet lunch is provided and your classmates are amazing company!

Sign up on my website Petroffdesign.com with the link in my bio, or reach out and DM me for more information. I look forward to seeing you in the studio!
