Old paper gasket is not always good reference for 3D designs.
Owner of this Nissan Bluebird decided for Webber carburettor conversion. To keep original air box I had to 3D print a spacer.
My Prusa Core One+ 3D printer again did excellent job 👌👌👌

My eBay and Etsy are open for a while.
You can find some products for Mini’s but at the moment there is much more TOOL BOX ORGANISERS.
At the moment I have modular organiser for screwdrivers, extensions and spanner’s 💪💪💪
But soon more products should be released.
Organiser are 3D printed in ABS, modular with magnetic base 👌

Klipper on old Prusa MK3S 😱😱😱
I had Prusa MK3S in my shed and decided to push some more life into it.
Target was to make it faster, activate input shaper to reduce VFR, Wi-Fi connection, possibility to connect camera and make it cheap as is possible. I already had @bondtech3d tool head with @revopoint Revo6 installed. Plus I did nylock mod on heated bed for more accurate levelling.
I could use Prusa Original MK3.5S, MK3.9S or MK4S upgrade kits, but I want to do it cheaper!
I decide to install Klipper on it using raspberry Pi4 👌👌👌
Cost relatively low compared to Prusa Original upgrade kits. A lot of fun and pain in the same time , installing a Klipper and setting up everything. Still have to do some more tune on input shaper but it’s working.
So what hardware you need:
- old MK3S
- Raspberry Pi ( I used 4B but older version should be fine)
- power supply for Raspberry P ( you can use external charger dedicated for Raspberry Pi or 5V DC-DC converter and supply power from Prusa PCU),
- your old Prusa USB cable,
- accelerometer is optional for more accurate tune on input shaper,
- PETG filament to print new case for control box,
All files and know how you can find on git hub.
For max £50 we can have machine good as MK3.5S and still have a open door for more modifications like adding cameras, lighting etc 👌👌👌
I have my Prusa Core One and Bambulab X1C at home, so when its finish unfortunately is going back to my shed waiting for some more space.
What’s next?? Hmm maybe 🤔 Voron2.4??

I noticed recently that heated bed on my Prusa Core One is lower on a right rear corner.
It was possible to notice that on printed objects too.
I installed octoprint on Raspberry Pi 5 and configured it to work with Core One.
Now I have visualisation of heated bed mesh.
It’s time for my Prusa anyway so I will try reduce that difference following Prusa guides. If that doesn’t solve a problem I will go through a path like on my MK3S and use nylon nut mod!

My 3D printed spanner organisers are finally in a tool box
👌👌👌
Modular design saves me a lot of space 😁😁😁 more space means I need more tools, because tool box don’t like free space 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Contrasting colours help to find a tool we looking for, magnets 🧲 hold organisers in a right position, and I used @polymaker_3d ABS filaments for strength 💪💪💪
My @bambulab_official X1C 3D printer with AMS is doing great job.

Another example how handy is a 3D printer in a garage 👌
This time I designed and print new air vents for Old Jaguar XJ for our regular customer. Check other photos how it looks at the end💪💪💪

Some 40-50 years old plastic elements get weak and accidents happen.
With few measurements, Fusion360 @autodesk and Prusa Core One 3D Printer @josefprusa , I was able to manufacture new air vents.
Prusa Core One as always did a great job with ABS filament👌👌👌

This time nothing about a Mini, just want to show You how useful 3D printer might be in a workshop.🤩🤩🤩

My first 3D printed part using TPU material.
I couldn’t get a proper anti roll bar bush’s for Porsche 911 F- series.
To not waist any more time I take all measurements in workshop and using #fusion360 designed a correct bush.
Prusa Core One did well with TPU filament and at the end I achieved nice fitment.👌💪💪💪

I have more colours available. Some of a badges are available on eBay, but on request I can print different colours if I have filament available.

I’m trying to develops more products, and some of them should be available soon.
