When it comes to BMW M cars the eternal question remains, F or G series? Well owning a F87 M2 Comp and having driven the G87 a couple of times, here is my verdict.🏁

F87
👉 Much better looking.
👉More driving feel and a spicier handling car.

G87
👉Better engine and more power S58> S55 480hp vs 411hp.
👉 Far superior chasis and handling.
👉 A much better upgraded interior with BMW’s idrive 8.5.

Either way both are amazing drivers cars, that pay homage to BMW’s famed Sheer Driving Pleasure claim.

Spanish Motorsport history pages were written again on Sunday.
Carlos Sainz completed a perfect weekend along with his near perfect pole position lap and race win at the Mexico GP.
This not only helped Carlos complete his 4th race win, but also helped Ferrari bridge another gap, one that was present since Alain Prost last won Mexico in 1990.

The Spaniard was bold brilliant and savvy and although he lost P1 to Max Verstappen, at the start, committed 0 mistakes and even buried his teeth in a dog fight, late braking into turn 1 with a beautiful overtake on Verstappen round the inside and then keeping his hands up, defending against the three-time world champion. A 20 second penalty after he put Norris off track, and gained advantage by going off track would vanish all chances for the dutch.
This was a much deserved win by Carlos whom we are all very happy to see take another W in red. Indeed we even got Carlando on the podium! with Leclerc completing P3.

The Sainz mania phenomenon infected even Zak Brown, which led him to “photobomb” the Ferrari celebration photo, Carlos did the same with McLaren’s. Simply outstanding!

A smooth operation.

From a hospital bed to a race win.
This is the story of a warrior a gladiator, named Carlos Sainz Jr, 🇪🇸someone who just refused to give up 💪who has challenged all the odds both physically and mentally. Two weeks ago he had to abandon after FP2 at Jeddah, in excruciating pain to have his appendix removed, and spent the last 2 weeks in bed doing everything humanly possible to recover.

To drive an F1 car with speeds in excess of 340km/h combined with 5-6G’s under braking and through fast corners. Yes, Carlos has done it all, defying all odds, drivers and even overtaking the dutch sledge hammer, Verstappen and RB, who’s dominance in the last two seasons has only waned slightly under this man.
Carlos’ race was absolutely clinical, like the surgical procedure that removed his appendix, dominant during the whole weekend achieving a massive P2 in qualy and with a perfect race with 0 mistakes.

Of course Max’s race was cut short, when his brakes ignited and had to retire. Even with the dutchman on track this would have been a tantalizingly close battle, making the outcome of Sainz’s victory a very plausible one.
Tears of joy from his father, the legend Carlos Sainz “El Matador” like father like son.

Cool to see CARLANDO on the podium🤩

I’m just loving Sainz’s character arc switch to villain mode.
