Ok so here we go. This should be fun. Here are my top 10 shoes of 2021. I felt compelled to do this list after so many people DM’d about these ridiculous Top 10 list circulating on IG. My criteria is simple. No shoes designed in 80’s or 90’s or early 2000’s are eligible. I find it incredibly lazy of all of these supposed “sneaker heads” who post nothing but new colorways of shoes that are 40 years old. Please. Grow a bit, learn, the tech that is happening in running shoes right now is 🔥. That’s why they dominate my list. The casuals from Bottega and FOG are just great vibes. Easy. Easily the 2 best slip-ons this year. And I felt I had to add a a basketball shoe even though the offerings were absolutely terrible. The Melo shoe from Puma is probably the best of the bunch. Go ahead and @ me. I’m here for you. I’ll definitely respond. But don’t @ me with some over-hyped new color of a shoe from the 80’s or 90’s. I’m over that shit. PS: I had about 20 shoes on my list but cut it to 10. There are some killer shoes out there if you open your eyes. by @petrymichael
