Don't be a dick and post spoilers. Don't be a dick and post pictures of the book. Don't be a dick and post your favourite highlighted quote.

JUST DON'T BE A DICK.

When you do post - SPOILER warnings everywhere for anyone who hasn't read it yet. Let's be kind and protect our lovely friends reading journey.

When @beckyjanefox originally sent me Veins of Power I was just excited to have a new "spicy dragon book" to fawn over. What I wasn't expecting was for it to take over MY ENTIRE BRAIN!!! You've probably seen VOP absolutely blowing up and it's for good reason.

I held off reading this for as long as I could because I knew I would be OBSESSED. Book 2 Part 1 takes off immediately after that outrageous cliffhanger. And oh my god it does not slow down. Our poor FMC Lyra has been through the ringer. Deaths, betrayal, and now she learns the world she lives in is not what she thought it was at all. And she blames everything on our morally grey MMC Talen (and the LOML). We are dealing with fear, past trauma, adding to our found family and hoping they make it out of the series alive 🫣

A moment for magical note passing 😍 I am absolute SUCKER for this. And it's so sweet in here.

Why should you read this? Because it is absolutely gripping. It gets its claws and does not let go. But mainly the way the dragons are written into this story. It is so different to anything currently out there. And Becky has created one of my absolute favourite ways to include bonded Dragons. I refuse to spoil it you simply have to get this series on your TBR. And THANK ME LATER. If you love a deepening plot and a book that continues to expand the world and the characters while keeping the banter and spice. This is it!! And you can join me while we wait for part 2!

Book 1 is Veins of Power. Book 2 Part 1 is Oaths of Ruin. Both on KU so no excuses 👏.

QOTD : Have you been sucked in to this series yet ??

Okay but who's your guy?

I've always been an Azriel girly.
Rhysand was my first book boyfriend.
And I don't care about Cassian in the slightest 😂🫣

I've been in a book slump. Instagram slump. Everything slump. The algorithm is driving me crazy. I'm sick of the negativity and people posting leaks. I needed something fun to bring me back and @m.j.lawrie_author is always reliable!

This is a Halloween horror novella, 174 pages of fast paced demon smut. All the halloween vibes, haunted houses, 3 Demons, yes 3 and all the triggers you could ask for. Super fast paced super spicy. MJ always has the female at the forefront of the story. And this one is all about the FMC taking revenge on those who tortured her. With the help of her demons who are OBSESSED.

If you need something absolutely unhinged, quick read and you're in a spooky mood. This is the one for you 🎃 this definitely brought me back to life.

Swipe for TW/menu list.

Spook season reads, what we saying? Do you have a favourite??

Here I thought this would cure my book slump but it threw me right back in!!!

This is so fkn BEAUTIFUL!!! An absolute sob fest in the best way. A hea yes. But do you have to earn it?! Absolutely!!!

Not a spoiler I promise it is in the blurb our main characters are in a time loop of sorts. The way it is written and the way you experience it is honestly stunning. This book will break you apart and put you back together.

Our MMC is a scholar and our FMC is a Knight 😍. I'm not saying @alix.e.harrow invented yearning on a glorious scale but I'm also not not saying that. You know we've got that one horse trope but I guarantee you have never read it this way.

We all know I love a fantasy with some humor, that is my WEAKNESS! And this has so many hilarious moments. Our MMCs internal monologue had me cracking up. He is also an adorable anxious disaster. My favourite quote is

"As was my long custom in every stressful situation, I panicked" BOY SAME!!! 😂

It's beautiful and tragic and you need to give this standalone some attention!!!

Finally getting to gush over my nails with the @authorpenncole herself 😍 and in my Corbois shirt. Although a name change might be needed now...👀

This sweet lady gave the best author talk on all things Kindreds Curse saga. It was an absolute joy to meet her in person. Cannot wait to see what you do next!

Her advice to us was "watch any and all romantasy adaptations that come out" . The more hype we give the more we will get!! So get ready, our romantasy hearts will be rewarded!!

And the team @waterstonesarndale smashed it as usual 👏

Being back at Basgiath was everything I needed after being taken out by the plague 🤒 🤕

Sloanes chapter was easily my favourite, I did not plan on sobbing but here we are. Hearing Sgaeyls introduction was everything!!! I was lucky to be at home and listen in one go. When you're done I want to know favourite chapters, lines, who stood out!

Thank you @rebeccayarros for this little gift 😍 cannot wait to reread and unpack every line.
