“Can I still drop out?” 🎓

I feel incredibly blessed that through it all, both the highs and the lows, I made it till the end- defining the odds of a first generation college graduate.

I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am for the last 4 years.

To my housemates, roommates, friends, professors, bosses, and family who have stood by my side and encouraged me till the very end… I am so thankful for all the ways you have impacted my life over the years.

To my social worker who didn’t believe in me and told my family I’d never graduate high school let alone college, thank you for being my inspiration in my career & to be better for the kids I serve. Let it be my reminder to always be the first person to support and believe in the vulnerable population I serve and to tell them they can define the odds regardless of their circumstances and past.

Taylor, you will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for all the ways you have shaped my life. 💜 taken in Taylor University by @peyton_fiegel

I said goodbye to my childhood dog Murphy this weekend! 🤍 Words cannot describe the hole in my heart his absence has left. Murph, thank you for loving me for the last 17 years.
