My question to @mnight at the @filmlinc Q&A screening of UNBREAKABLE. During the film I nearly talked myself out of asking this question, because I was worried about how everyone in the auditorium would perceive it. I almost went with a much safer, much less meaningful question that was more obligatory than it was from the heart. Night’s answer was beautiful, and it proved why I should never have doubted asking the question in the first place.

Today is my birthday and my immensely talented and thoughtful girlfriend @_marisolcaal gave me the most incredible gift. She created this portrait of Cooper from Trap with fictional newspapers and concert tickets that she made herself, as well as lyrics from @saleka’s music from the film. This is not only an amazing reflection of a movie that means a lot to me, but it also feels like the world of the film is now even bigger and more alive in my mind because of what she has created. I will cherish this forever.

Chris Hansen’s depiction in PRIMETIME reminds me a lot of our world today. Because we can always assume we are constantly being broadcast to an audience, we are much like Hansen in this film attempting to keep ourselves on the side of the ones doing the punishing instead of the ones being punished, because that is the binary through which the world continues to be seen. #film #primetime #chrishansen #tocatchapredator #robertpattinson by @peyton_jb

Another @fantastic.fest has come and gone. This festival has always been more about the people than the movies, but this year in particular combined the two in a really special way. Great memories were made, and at the same time seeing my friends’ work on the big screen is deeply inspiring, and feels like witnessing the start of many exciting things to come. I feel so lucky to be here to see it. by @peyton_jb
