Benedict’s birth story! I can’t believe it’s already been four weeks today 🥹❤️ All photos besides slide 2 done by @evelynortmarphotography #homebirth #positivebirthstory by @peyton_rene_
Last week we took a road trip to the vacation spot of my childhood 🗺️🚙 We made lots of cool pit stops along the way, the kids and Lawrence met extended family of mine they hadn’t before, and we enjoyed the many activities of the Venetian festival! by @peyton_rene_
Highlights from the past week: •lots of outside time as a family ☀️ •hangouts/play dates with friends and our kiddos •visited my aunt and uncle/Benny’s godparents and saw a huge pileated woodpecker on their bird feeder! How cool! •celebrated Nicholas and Alison’s wedding 💒 So excited to have another sister, and so thankful Gus made it mostly all the way down the aisle as a ring bearer😅❤️ by @peyton_rene_
There is nothing more special than being a mother. The most undervalued, most beautiful job on earth. I am beyond blessed to be mom to my two boys, Augustus and Benedict. Thank you to my own mom and gram for guiding me, and to Jesus for entrusting these boys to my care. Happy Mother’s Day to every mom pouring herself out for her children. by @peyton_rene_
March you’ve been good to us ✨☘️ This month started off a little rough when Gus came down with influenza 🤒. Thankfully, after that week, it turned into a beautiful month. I spent some time with local friends, the weather warmed up and we got outside more, and I made sure to stop for my lotus teas at The Monarch on double punch Tuesdays, and the occasional cookie or donut from Home Sweet Bakehouse on Sunday. I also managed several solo nights and days at home with the kiddos while Lawrence finished out his reffing season and began a new part-time job (on top of his regular job- thanks for all the hard work babe). I got lots of snuggles with Benny before I head back to work in April, watched a few of Quinn and Caleb’s basketball games (including their trip to the state tournament!!!), and was able to watch Nicholas’ first college track and field meet. I am so grateful for this life I get to live and the time I get to spend with the people I love most. by @peyton_rene_
Reset the house with me while Benny naps ✨🏡 Last week Gus and then Lawrence got hit with sickness. I was soooo thankful Benny took a long nap today so I could clean and sanitize everything 🙌🏻 Total mom win of the day #cleanwithme #housereset by @peyton_rene_
