There were plenty of smiles and fun at our fourth annual Go Gold Festival! 💛

Patients and families at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital came together to celebrate our incredible kids while raising awareness for childhood cancer.

With a magician, furry friends, oncology organizations and plenty of activities, the day was filled with laughter and special moments for our patients and families.

A huge thank you to the Circle of Champions Celebration Station for making this event possible year after year. We’re so grateful for your generosity and continued support! A cheerful group of 12 women, some kneeling, pose with photo booth props like "Good Vibes," "Peace Out Cancer," and "hope." Behind them, a brown bulletin board reads "go gold 2026" and "childhood cancer," suggesting an awareness event. by @peytonchildrens

A little creativity can make a big difference! 🦒🏰

A huge thank you to @encouragekids for providing new Playroom equipment for our patients!

These special additions give children a chance to play, create, and simply be kids during their hospital stay. Our newest architect has officially named her masterpiece “Giraffe Castle”—and we think it deserves a royal celebration! 👑💛

Thank you for helping us create moments of joy, imagination, and normalcy for our patients! Charge into Fire Safety! 🔥🔋

During Fire Prevention Week, October 4-10, the Ascension St. Vincent Adult and Pediatric Burn Center is teaming up with the @nfpadotorg to share an important reminder: safe charging starts with everyday choices.

Lithium-ion batteries power many of the devices we use every day. Simple habits like using the right charger, following manufacturer instructions and unplugging devices when they’re fully charged can help reduce the risk of battery fires.

Use your charging superpower and make smart choices every time you plug in! ⚡

#BatterySafety #FirePreventionWeek Smiling woman with dark curly hair looks at a silver laptop, resting her chin on her hand. On a reddish-brown background, text reads: 'Charging lithium batteries Safety tips. Charge on hard surfaces, use original chargers. Stop if hot, smoky, swelling, or strange smell. Unplug when full. Charge large items like e-bikes outside.' by @peytonchildrens

Meet this week's Indianapolis Colts Kickoff Kid! 💙🏈

At just 3 years old, Walker's family noticed a lump in his abdomen and blood in his urine. What followed was a whirlwind of scans, tests, emergency surgery, and a diagnosis of an aggressive kidney cancer. After surgery, Walker completed 14 cycles of chemotherapy and two weeks of radiation, facing every step of his treatment with incredible strength and resilience, often arriving dressed as his favorite superhero, Spider-Man.

Walker recently celebrated a major milestone by ringing the bell to mark the end of his treatment. Today, he continues physical and occupational therapy while staying connected with his oncology care team. When he's not cheering on superheroes, Walker loves Spider-Man, football, and zombies.

Meet this week's Indianapolis Colts Coin Toss Captain! 💙🏈

Christmas morning took an unexpected turn when Kennedi suffered a traumatic brain injury while riding her new e-bike. She spent 15 days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where she underwent surgery to relieve swelling in her brain, followed by a second surgery to secure her skull. Throughout her recovery, Kennedi faced intubation, feeding tubes, and additional procedures with incredible strength and a positive attitude, forming lasting bonds with her care team along the way.

Today, Kennedi is looking forward to getting back on the soccer field and hopes to use her story to encourage others to wear the proper safety gear when riding e-bikes.

During NICU Awareness Month, we’re celebrating our NICU grads and how far they’ve come. 💙

Ellie was born at just 29 weeks, weighing 2 pounds, 14 ounces. During her stay in the NICU at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, doctors discovered she would need surgery to create room for her brain to grow.

After three surgeries and an incredible recovery, Ellie is thriving. Today, she loves school, reading and staying active with sports, especially basketball. 🏀

We’re so happy to celebrate Ellie and all the milestones she’s reached along the way!

At just 3 years old, Walker’s life changed when a lump in his abdomen and blood in his urine led to emergency surgery and a diagnosis of a rare and aggressive kidney cancer.

He went on to complete 14 cycles of high-dose chemotherapy and two weeks of radiation at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Walker has celebrated a huge milestone by ringing the bell after his final treatment. He has since graduated from physical and occupational therapy, too. 💛

Today, Walker continues to stay connected with his care team while getting back to being a kid. He loves school, Spider-Man, football, basketball, boating and swimming.

We’re celebrating how far Walker has come and cheering him on for all that’s ahead!
