🎉happy birthday mommy!🎉 anyone who knows me; knows my mom. they also know that she is my bestest friend, my shoulder to cry on, my biggest supporter, and the woman i look up to the most. my mom is not only the woman who gave me life, but the person who has made my life feel safe, loved, and worth celebrating. she has been there for me through every high and every low, loving me even when i didn’t know how to love myself. she has seen every side of me—the happy, the broken, the stubborn, the scared—and somehow, she has never stopped choosing me. she is the person i can tell everything to, the person i can laugh with until my stomach hurts, and the person i can cry with when the world feels too heavy. there is a comfort in knowing that no matter how much life changes or how old i get, i will always, no matter what have my mom to come home to. i wish i could put into words how much she means to me, but no words will ever be enough. she is my safe place, my biggest cheerleader, my shoulder to cry on, and truly my best friend. i am endlessly grateful that i get to call her my mom, and i hope she knows that i will spend my whole life trying to give her even a fraction of the love she has given me and will work every day to repay her for all the sacrifices that she has made. i pray one day i will be half the woman you are, i love you more than words could ever say.🤍 ‘cause me don’t mean a thing without you’ by @peytonhaag.2

wow. 2 years without you but it feels like a lifetime, it never gets easier… you will forever be my partner in crime, you healed the family in ways we never thought could be healed, you were the glue to the family, you were everyone’s pride and joy.
