Blessed. That’s all I know to say after this week. Dalton and I were able to win the @collegiatebass national championship at lake hartwell this weekend with 37.14lbs for two days. After day one we were sitting in 6th so we knew we needed to go out swinging. On day two we had one of the most magical days I’ve ever had bringing in the biggest bag of the event at 21.29lbs. Also congratulations to the boys @peyton_sorrow_fishing and @brodyrobisonfishing on a 3rd place finish! Thank you to everyone for the endless support! Absolutely blown away after this week. To say practice was tough would be an understatement. We knew we were around some big fish but wasn’t sure if we could get them to bite. Super blessed to pull out the win. Huge thank you to every one who supports and believes in us. Go falcons! taken in Lake Murray by @peytonharrisfishing

WOW! I’m still at a loss for words on what to say. This was one of the most amazing weeks of fishing in my entire life. They say when it’s your time you can do no wrong and this week proved that. @dixie.hammer.fishing and I were able to put together a three day total of 66lbs 15oz anchored by the final day weight of 27lbs 11oz to help us claim the win in the @mlfbig5official college national championship. I just want to say thank you to everyone for the endless calls and text that I’m still not caught up on. This means so much to me to see the hard work dalton and I have put in finally pay off. I can’t say thank you enough to every one who has supported us and helped us get to this point. Also, huge shout out to the freshman @bberry_fishing and @hunter.bright_ on a stellar week making the top 10 in their first national Championship. Go falcons! @scout_program_management

On Norfolk more bass caught equals less weight! Tough day for me at the @bassmaster EQ but still managed to walk away in 22nd place. On to Toledo Bend!

Boy was it a grind! We snuck around and scraped up enough to be in 14th place after day one of the @bassmaster EQ on Norfolk. Going to be a grind again tomorrow! Let’s make it happen! taken in Norfork Lake by @peytonharrisfishing

The rig that landed us in 5th at the @bassmastercollege National championship on leach lake!

We figured out early on in practice that these small mouth were keying in heavily on crawfish. A first choice for me was the new @netbait virus in green pumpkin violet. This is a bait that I have been playing with for a couple months now and it has grown to be one of my favorites. Early in the week with the lighter winds I was able to throw it on a super light worm hook and let it fall super slow around the boulders. In the heavier winds I went to the drop shot so I could get it to the fish.

You can rig this bait in so many different ways and kind of make it your own! Y’all be sure to slide over to the @american.baitworks website and check them out. You won’t be disappointed! by @peytonharrisfishing

15lbs 13oz left us in 5th place in the @bassmastercollege event in leach lake. Left it all out there today and just came up short. The last five years have been an absolutely blessing and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Huge congratulations to two of my best friends @peyton_sorrow_fishing and @brodyrobisonfishing on taking the trophy back to Alabama!

Unbelievable day on the water for me and Dan. 23lbs jumped us from 18th to 4th going into the final day tomorrow. Time to go surfing in the big water and try to bring in five more giants. Y’all be sure to tune in a follow the action tomorrow!
