One month of Hallie Mae 💗💗

It’s been a month since my sweet girl was born. One month since I became a mom, to the most precious angel in the world. One month of thinking about one thing only, my sweet daughter.

If you know me, you know how much I wanted me to a mom my whole life. There was nothing I wanted more than to have a family, fill my house full of babies and give them everything I can. We loved every second of growing our girl, praying for her and thinking of the wonderful future we would have with her. Hallie being gone has been the most difficult thing to navigate. My heart feels empty. My mind is blank, the only thing I think about is my sweet baby, and the memories I should be making with her. Thinking about my life if she was here with me, the things I should be doing racing in my head about how we would be shopping with her everyday, going on walks every morning and sitting outside waiting for daddy to be home. Then reality hits me, my sweet angel girl is not on earth anymore.

My Hallie is rejoicing in heaven. Watching her family from heaven. Watching us taking our life day by day, talking about her every second we can and remembering every little thing about her. The Lord has been so close to us in is difficult time. Giving all my sorrows and grief to the lord, and trusting the path he is paving for us. We have never lost hope, and have so much comfort knowing the Lord hears all of the prayers we can barely put into words. We will never understand why this would happen to us, why it has to be this way, why it had to be our perfectly made baby. But we do know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That the Lord is close to the broken hearted and the ones who grieve.

I love my sweet little family, and I will never stop talking and sharing about my first baby, the most perfect princess in the world, the girl who changed my whole life. Sweet Hallie you have made me a better person, a better mommy and a better wife. My whole life I will speak of your name and tell everyone just how important you are.

Hallie Mae Greaves 👼🏻💗

On September 6th, we welcomed our precious baby girl into the world. She was everything we could have dreamt of, and the most perfect girl we could have ever imagined. Hallie lived a few short hours before she went to be in the arms of Jesus.

She left such an impact on not only us but everyone who knows her story. She is so so loved and we are so grateful to be her dad and mom. Although we feel deeply saddened and confused by this situation, we know the Lord is going before us and healing us everyday and guiding us in our next steps.

We are so thankful for everyone that has wrapped their arms around us with love, prayers and support. We feel so loved by each and every one of you and know Hallie Mae has so many people that love her so much.

Although we are still navigating how to go on without our sweet girl here with us, we know she is dancing in heaven, and know we will see our sissy girl when we get there. Until then, we will live everyday in her honor and speak of how she was the most beautiful, loved baby.
