I never thought this day would come… today, I said goodbye to a sport that changed my life forever. It’s hard to put into words how much golf has meant to me over the past 4 years. What started as just a sport turned into one of the biggest parts of my life. This game has taught me so much about myself, pushed me in ways I never expected, and given me some of the best people and happiest memories of my life. Golf has been so much more than just a sport to me, and that’s what makes saying goodbye so hard. God has been there guiding me through seasons I never thought I would have to face, and reminding me that even when life doesn’t go as planned, he’s still there for me in ways I may never fully understand. He has continued to strengthen me and remind me that there is a purpose in every season of life. I believe that’s why he put golf in my life, to show me that even in the hardest times, there are still things worth holding onto, reasons to keep pushing forward, and blessings to always be thankful for. This year has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, and I will forever be thankful for the people on this team who have stood by me, loved me, and helped me through some of my hardest days. As hard as it is to close this chapter, I will forever be thankful that I got to experience it. If I could go back to the beginning and do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. Thank You, God, for giving me a love for this sport, for carrying me through the hard days, and for blessing me with memories i’ll cherish for the rest of my life. by @peytonnwadee
