Hi, I’m Niki! I’ve probably hidden behind the animals long enough, so hello!

I’m from Cyprus and Portugal, and I’ve always created some sort or art!

Then I moved to Cape Town and got slightly obsessed with the nature here! The animals, the landscapes, the colours, all of it. That, slowly turned into The quiet wild, and pezuni.

A lot of work is really about paying a bit more attention. To small moments, strange little details, and beautiful things we normally walk straight past.

Somehow, a few drawings have now turned into actual prints, collections and markets… so I guess pezuni is official a thing now! taken in Cape Town, South Africa by @pezuni_

Welcome to the world of pezuni!

A little world of animals, colour, curious characters and illustrated moments that slowly turned into collections of their own.

pezuni was born not long after I moved to Cape Town! Somewhere between falling in love with the place, drawing a lot, and realising that a few illustrations had somehow turned into a collection.

I’m Niki, originally from Cyprus, and I’ve always loved drawing, making things and collecting little bits of inspiration from the places around me. Cape Town gave me plenty of that, and eventually I decided to stop treating the illustrations as “just a few drawings” and give them a proper home. That, became pezuni!

My work is inspired by nature, animals, colour and the small moments and ideas that catch my attention along the way. What started with a few pieces has slowly grown into different collections, with plenty more ideas still to come.

At @the.kindredmarket on 4 October, I’ll be bringing along A4 and A5 fine art prints, as well as greeting cards and stickers for you to browse through!

Very excited to bring pezuni to @the.kindredmarket for the first time!
