Last Saturday, the Pussyfooters were proud to show our love and support at the Death By Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer fundraiser!

What a sweet success for an incredible cause! Together, the event raised more than $18,000 to help in the fight to end mortality from breast cancer.

What an incredible NAMIWalk Southeast Louisiana!

Last Saturday, the Pussyfooters proudly joined 1,118 participants and 86 teams who came together for mental health awareness and support, raising an amazing $130,195!

The walk may be over, but there’s still time to give! Every donation helps NAMI Southeast Louisiana continue providing vital resources, education, advocacy, and support in our community.

For 10 years, Lacey brought her infectious smile, magnetic personality, and unmistakable energy to the Pussyfooters. She was a dance leader, devoted friend, talented nurse and mentor, and someone who always lifted others up. She loved New Orleans, Jazz Fest, dancing, loud laughs, late celebrations, and loving her people BIG.

Lacey’s legacy continues in a very special way. A nursing scholarship was established in her memory through Delgado’s Charity School of Nursing to support nursing students who have faced challenges but continue to reach out and help others.

And in a beautiful full-circle moment, the recipient of Lacey’s scholarship, Rose Cheuka, recently served as a Pussyfooter Handler for our Pink Army during the Southern Decadence parade.

What a special reminder that Lacey’s light continues to shine and her legacy lives on through service, sisterhood, and the community she loved so much.

For over 10 years, the Pussyfooters have proudly participated in the NAMI Walk, and it remains one of the events we look forward to most each year.
We walk to raise awareness, break the stigma surrounding mental illness, and show our love and support for our families, friends, sisters, and community.

Join us Saturday, September 26 at Audubon Park! Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

The Pussyfooters were thrilled to be guests of the Krewe of Muses at their annual brunch!

We sassied our way through the ballroom, Second Lined with the slaying Beyjorettes, and soaked up an energy that was absolutely ELECTRIC!

As New Orleans’ first all-female Carnival krewe, Muses has been bringing their signature wit and sparkle to the streets for decades.

Thank you, Krewe of Muses, for having the Pink Army! We had an absolute blast celebrating with you and can’t wait to see you take over the streets on “Thersday,” February 4, 2027!
