Since 2013 Our Board has been coming up with unique ways to impact underserved communities here in Southern and Central Ohio. We don’t take the opportunity to give lightly. We believe it’s a true gift 🎁 to help others with tools and education they need to achieve their dreams and goals. Whether it’s mentorship, coaching, or physical tools, we pride ourselves on being the bridge that provides access. This particular program was very special because it marks the first event in our 10th year of existence. We are super excited to take this organization into the next decade with many more great ideas and partnerships like this one !! Please reach out to @pfoporg @dposey_ or @p.gardens_mediacollective if you would like to partner or do any programs or events in 2023 or 2024 🙏🏾🤞🏾Cheers to the next 10 years ! by @pfoporg

Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson is the only professional athlete in history to be named an All-Star player in both football and baseball. If he can do it, so can your children. Let them play as many sports as they want; never know where it may take them.

⚾️ Did you know that Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry once said “They’ll put a man on the moon before I hit a homerun.” Then on July 20, 1969, Perry hit his first home run a couple of hours after Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. How cool is that!

Let your children help out in the kitchen sometimes. 🍕 It could be a hobby they never knew they enjoyed. Family cooking could also be a way to bond with each other. It also gives the kids a sense of being responsible.

We celebrate all of the black women and men who came before us and have paved the way for so many changes. Although there is still room for more changes and progressions, we honor those who have passed on dreams and aspirations to us for a better tomorrow.

How exciting to receive $5,000 from our local Meijer! Many thanks to Spencer for all of his hard work.

We will use the funds from this grant to take multiple families on a shopping trip for groceries. Stay tuned for details on how to apply. In the meantime, go see our friends at 6550 Harrison Avenue!
