Wishing a happy 55th birthday to @yolikegeorge and Parliament Funkadelic’s “Maggot Brain” and one of the most legendary guitar solos of all time by Eddie Hazel.

These animations are selections from @l1ghtbrush’s live visual performance at @pfunkfestival and outtakes from the “Funk Upon a Time” animation for the third landing of The Mothership at @essencefest

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the legendary artists of the Parliament-Funkadelic universe who are no longer with us. ♥️
Their voices, visions, characters, and cosmic energy remain woven into the fabric of funk forever.

The BIGGEST and most SURREAL moment of my art career so far....The moment my biggest idol and one of THE most INFLUENTIAL names in Music History said he's heard about me...🤯🤯🤯

You heard it Fam! Uncle G said "I'm good with it!" 🤯😎💯
I couldn't believe it! Not only did I have the amazing opportunity to meet the legendary @yolikegeorge , I now officially have the BLESSING and HONOR of continuing to use one of his stage names, DR. FUNKENSTEIN, as my own name and my creative, artistic alter-ego as a tribute to the FUNK.

What a FULL circle moment of my art career it was to finally meet the ORIGINAL Dr. Funkenstein, and exhibit my art for the 1st Annual PFunk Festival, celebrating George Clinton's 85th birthday with the entire @werpfunk PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC Universe and Family. This moment has been YEARS in the making for me. 🚀

I keep telling you all, MANIFESTATION IS REAL!!!!!!

THANK YOU Uncle G & all the PFunk Family for welcoming me to The Mothership! 🛸🛸🛸

THANK YOU to everyone that has supported me from the beginning and continues to support me, my art, and collab events. From painting in my tiny kitchen in RVA w @wandering.crafts , to emceeing @floydfestva , starting Rooftop Fam & Funk Basel, to painting a mural for @jamcruise in the Bahamas, and now THIS moment. It's still crazy to me.

THANK YOU to all my recent Followers & Collectors that have bought a painting, bucket hat, or custom sneakers. And of course a special THANK YOU to all the fellow Funkateers for the support and hospitality this weekend!

I truly can't wait to see where else this journey takes us. Like PFunk says "FREE YOUR MIND...AND YOUR ASS WILL FOLLOW"
