POSTS STORIES REELS

Honored to attend the Mayor’s opening reception during Congressional Black Caucus week—an evening celebrating leadership, service, and the continued strength of our communities.

As a leader in behavioral health here in Washington, DC, I’m reminded that community progress must include mental wellness. Strong communities are built when people have access to compassionate care, trusted support, and the resources they need to thrive.

I remain committed to helping strengthen the systems that serve our residents and ensuring that behavioral health continues to have a place in the conversations shaping our city’s future.

Rooted. Ready. Rising. ✨

Happy Retirement Avery! by @pgbehavioralhealth

Grateful to attend the annual breakfast with the DC Behavioral Health Association (DCBHA) and to be a member of an association that continues to bring behavioral health leaders together across Washington, DC.

A special thank you to Mark and Maria for their leadership in creating space for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy.

DCBHA plays an important role in helping providers stay connected and aligned as we work alongside the Department of Behavioral Health and other respected behavioral health agencies to support consumers throughout our community.

It is always encouraging to be in a room with leaders who are committed to strengthening access, improving systems of care, and advancing behavioral health services across the District.

Community Outreach in Action 💙

P&G Behavioral Health Services was proud to participate in the Community Resource and Job Fair at the READY Center on MLK Jr. Avenue SE.

As the behavioral health clinic onsite, our team had the opportunity to connect with community members, share resources, answer questions, and support individuals seeking care, services, and next steps.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff for showing up with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for the community we serve. This is what outreach looks like, meeting people where they are and reminding them that support is available.

Please join us in celebrating the heartbeat of our organization — our administrative team. ✨

Through a year of change and challenge, they showed strength, excellence, and unwavering commitment.

Honored to recognize them with Certificates of Appreciation! by @pgbehavioralhealth

When you look good, you feel good — and when you feel good, you show up as your best self.

Getting professional headshots done and refreshing them every few years isn’t just about pretty photos. It’s about embracing confidence, growth, and presenting yourself in a way that honors your journey.

We’re so grateful to Kiara Allen, Founder and Photographer of SpikeKii Productions who flew in from Tampa, FL to support our Fall Cohort and help mark the next step of their career journey and NuSolutions Business Services for sponsoring this amazing activity.

Research from the American Psychological Association shows that when employees feel valued and emotionally supported, they’re more engaged, motivated, and productive and deliver better experiences for those they serve.

Prioritizing our mental health and self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential.

Because the more grounded and confident we are, the more effectively we can nurture and uplift others.

What does leadership look like when solving problems?

It looks like pausing to gather the facts, asking better, deeper questions, and choosing to act with intention, not reaction.

The Think. Solve. Lead. training reminded us that strong leadership is rooted in clarity, compassion, and thoughtful decision-making.

A huge thank you to Aja McNeill for pouring into our Fall Cohort. With over 15 years of experience in HR, recruiting, and workplace investigations, she brought wisdom, real-world examples, and a powerful reminder that policy should guide and support our staff, not penalize them.

This session was inspiring, practical, and exactly what we needed as our administrative team continue growing as professionals and future leaders.

Here’s to reframing our mindset, strengthening our workplace culture, and leading with intention.

✨ Shining a Light on Our Admin Stars ✨

At P&G, we know the mental health field isn’t powered by clinicians alone, our administrative team is the backbone of everything we do.

As part of our Fall Training Cohort, we were honored to welcome Kenethia Bright, founder of Fashionably Bright, LLC, who volunteered her time to teach our students the power of dressing for success and showing up with confidence.

Her message was simple and inspiring: style is identity, professionalism, and purpose.

We are so grateful for her heart, her talent, and her willingness to pour into the next generation. 💛
This month, we celebrate our incredible admin professionals, thank you for holding this work together with grace and joy.
