I've been silent about my son's murder, but don't mistake my quietness for weakness. I've chosen to sit in silence, not out of fear, but out of strength. Acting on emotions isn't who I am or who I raised my son to be. Yesterday's news of an arrest brought back the pain of June 12, but we're grateful for the progress. This is just the beginning - we won't rest until we get justice for our son. Thank you for the love, calls, texts, and cards over the past 6-7 months.
