An introduction to Ivorian hospitality.
DINNER NO. 001 was the first of many…a table built on a tradition of welcome, generosity, and sharing everything you have with the people beside you.

AKISSI is a west African restaurant inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Côte d’Ivoire. Named after my grandmother Jeanette AKISSI. Coming soon to Detroit.

Grateful to everyone who showed up, and passed it forward especially our sponsor @ibestwines, Executive Chef Masai May, and @asanteshilife for curating vibes before a single plate hit the table.

Not everyone gets the next seat. Will it be you? ✨
