PUNK MEANS SOLIDARITY
SKATE PUNKS FOR GAZA

Open call to join Skate Punk digital music collection solidarity in the group فريق سكيت غزة / Gaza Skate @gaza_skate_team

Among the rubble and remnants of war, despite all the psychological pressure, they managed to create active communities again through skate culture.
Skate lessons are starting again and there is an immediate need for equipment.

ALL OF US TOGETHER WE CAN REBUILD WHAT WAS BROKEN.

Involving and supporting bands outside of the Skate Punk realm was important and couldn’t be left out.
The final collection, which will be released on Friday, October 24th, will have 2 sides. On the A side exclusively Skate Punk and on the B side all the supported bands.

*The collection will be uploaded to bandcamp https://grpunkcrusthc.bandcamp.com/ along with merch, where all proceeds will be donated to the Gaza Skate Team

The confirmed entries so far for the Gaza Skate Team digital solidarity collection (the list is being updated constantly):

Its always an honour to meet fans.
We dont do this for fame or glory or even money.
We do this to see smiles like this,
we do this because we love our community,
we do this so your voices are heard,
we do this so you know there are people still out here fighting for you,
we do this because we are stronger together,
we do this because we are stronger united.
We do this because together we will bring the change the world needs. by @phatproblem

I AM JANE DOE FROM CORNELL...

Listen to what comes up. Believe women when they tell their stories.
Teach your sons about consent, power, dignity and responsibility.
And keep building a world where girls don't have to inherit the same survival strategies we did.

THE STATS ARE STAGGERING.
Nearly 1 in 2 women (45.1% have experienced some form of contact sxual violence in their lifetime.
1 in 5 women (21%
have experienced completed or attempted r@pe.
And 39% of women have experienced unwanted sxual contact
So when stories about s*xual violence surface, they aren't reaching an audience untouched by it.
For millions of women, they are touching lived experience.
