Decision overturned! ⚖️🥊

We had the privilege of representing my good friend Charly Suarez Official before the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC). While we were afforded only a fragment of justice, there is consolation in the fact that the controversy rekindled the passion of a lot of Filipino boxing fans.

IBF minimumweight world champion Pedro Taduran closed the Taduran-Shigeoka chapter with a convincing decision win over the Japanese former world titlist.

While official scorecards show a split decision win in favor of Taduran, the same did not accurately reflect the sheer dominance that was displayed by the Filipino—with Shigeoka forced to leave via stretcher post fight.

Taduran, as well as co-champion Melvin Jerusalem (WBC), are now both being considered for a unification against Puerto Rican unified champion @oscar_manuel23.

With a second win over Yudai Shigeoka, Melvin Jerusalem extends his record to 3-0 against Japanese champions (in Japan).

The Filipino adopted the land of the rising sun as a “second home”; thanks to his managers @nobuyuki_matsuura1209 @mhavic0208 of @zipsanman, both of whom were instrumental in providing training opportunities for their ward in Japan, Jerusalem negated any “home court advantage” traditionally enjoyed by local fighters.

Following the win, Jerusalem’s team has their eyes set on a unification against former rival and current WBO world champion @oscar_manuel23, who also was victorious in his own title defense against Edwin Cano on March 29. by @phboxingcorner

Last night, Llover passed the litmus test when he dropped (2x) and eventually stopped former world champion Luis Concepcion en route to an 8th round TKO. Big props to Concepcion for his toughness!
