Came for the art, accidentally became part of the exhibition. 🖼️
I wore this abstract denim-look shirt jacket backwards because… why wear it the obvious way? 😂
Paired it with denim trousers and beige New Balance trainers and let the jacket do all the talking.
A little outfit experiment for a day at the gallery.

I had a vision… unfortunately, she did NOT show up. 😂

A New Look pleated dress became a maxi skirt, my Ralph Lauren shirt dress got twisted and worn backwards, the tinted glasses came out and the fro was left to do its thing.

Was I convinced at first? Absolutely not.
Did I eventually see the vision? …Maybe. 😂

Proof that sometimes you just need to stop wearing your clothes the “right” way and experiment.

A bake picnic, but make it a side quest 🎮🧁

I thought it would be fun to turn the day into a little pixel game because why should a photo dump just be a photo dump?

Dress became a skirt.
Shirt became off the shoulder.
I somehow made it to the event.
Then proceeded to eat my way through the entire bake selection. 😂

@abinchi.club Birmingham bake picnic was such a sweet day, literally and otherwise.

I still don’t know exactly where this outfit was going… but apparently, it got there 😂

This was one of those “I’m running late, I’m not fully convinced, but we’re leaving the house anyway” outfits.

And honestly, that’s sometimes when the experimenting gets interesting.

A black pleated dress became a maxi skirt, a shirt dress got twisted and worn backwards, tinted glasses were added, and the fro was left to do its thing.

Not wearing clothes the way they were intended will forever be one of my favourite ways to get dressed.

Sometimes you just have to play around and see where the outfit takes you 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

Pinterest & I go together real bad 😂
Saw the inspo and immediately started raiding my wardrobe — including a shirt that used to belong to my dad and, yes… I wore it backwards. Lol, say it with me: backwards! 😂
Added my Zara dress-turned-top, Boohoo Tall trousers and attempted a 90s-inspired hairstyle while trying to save what’s left of my hairline. 😭
The real question is… did I recreate the Pinterest look? 👀 by @pheebinmotion

3 looks. 1 trouser. And absolutely no time to be stressing about my hair 😂

This might actually be the first time I’ve gone away with my Afro just combed out, no styling, because with the UK heat lately… hair was genuinely the least of my worries.

So the brief was simple: quick, easy and still giving me a little something.
One T-shirt, one denim top and one very questionable “is this red or burnt orange?” moment 😂 — all styled with a few little tricks. by @pheebinmotion

I fear I owe the trouser-as-a-top community an apology 😂

Because when I first started seeing people do this, I really thought… you can still tell they’re trousers?? And now look at me.

I tried styling them a couple of ways, and whilst the matching striped trousers were giving Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat, I can’t lie… I started to see the vision.
