Introducing STUDIO.

Studio is a year for people who make things: a Renaissance Canada cohort that pastors artists as artists. We gather makers from across the country for a year of spiritual formation, a theology of making, and community honest enough to show unfinished work in.

Every artist is placed in an atelier with other artists, journeying together for the whole year with a mentor specific to their artistic discipline. It’s made in small rooms, on purpose.

Our 2026–2027 cohort begins today, and we’re so grateful for every artist who said yes to this year. Follow along as they make things.

Applications for the 2027–2028 cohort will open here.

Thank you Moose Jaw! I think it’s safe to say last night was one of my favourite shows I’ve ever played. Beautiful venue, great acoustics, and such a gracious listening audience. We had such a great night, thanks again to all who joined us taken in St. Aidan Anglican Church by @phenixwarren

A little bit of this and a little bit of that! Some important updates for you;

Tour with @kyleachurch starts on Sep 22nd in Medicine Hat! Get your Tix!

@melissaa.warren and I are taking a little vacation next week and I will probably not respond to you, but fear not, lots of music is still being made!

I am almost done a new song of MINE! I was recently reminded of the power of @bandcamp which all of my music is on if you want to buy it and help fund my best collab to date, Our Child™

Happy release week to so many pals! Super grateful for everyone who has trusted me with their work!

@heathermaymusic’s gorgeous new acoustic record Room For Improvement. We recorded this in her house, 10 songs of live acoustic performances, exactly how these songs were meant to be heard. When @colincarbonera and I started working on this with Heather we knew it should be as stripped back as possible, full takes (with a few edits here and there), just Heather and her guitar. It’s her best record yet and I am super proud of it! Thanks Colin for helping to engineer it, and @thesecretbeachstudio for mastering to tape!

@ilovembf the first of many covers to come that we recorded at @pocono.house!

And lastly @canaanbaca’s amazing new live album! Thanks @robellmore for bringing me on to do some editing work! Had a blast! taken in Calgary, Alberta by @phenixwarren
