What if I told you this book does not exist?😳 This was the first cover I illustrated from my trilogy of fake romance novels, and my favorite. It’s my take on a classic bodice ripper, and like all good bodice rippers it features a morally questionable at best hero, a convoluted plot that spans years, and a clinch cover. Although kids today would probably call a bodice ripper a “dark romance,” classic bodice ripper covers were anything but! The color choice for this cover took me ages. I included my final cover options here but best believe I had many many many more.

I want to give a special thanks to the wonderful @madebyperrin who was my mentor for this independent project. I couldn’t have done it without her insight and feedback!

What if I told you this book does not exist? 😳 Here’s the next book from my series of imaginary historical romance novels, it’s about two fancy ladies who fall in love at a dog show! It’s a Pride and Prejudice retelling. The Mr. Darcy character is Miss Almeter Scott, she comes from well-to-do NYC family and has an English Setter named Spotted-Dog. The Elizabeth character is Minnie, she’s a scatterbrained dachshund trainer/breeder. Her dog is named President Barkentine. Can you tell that I really like dogs?

What if I told you this book does not exist? 😳 As part of my series of imaginary historical romance novels, I came up with a concept for a fast paced romance novel set in 18th century London. It’s about a barrister (British trial lawyer) who falls in love with the defendant he’s representing. I’m thinking the defendant is some type of con artist? He’s totally guilty though. In my head the author’s whole shtick is that they write romance stories about lawyers❤️

Last but not least, my favorite of the series! Something about this one has a retro, 70s British spy vibe. I think she solves crimes with those dogs.
