This past weekend, the brothers of Nova Scotia Alpha traveled to Lake Laurie Provincial Park for our semi-annual retreat ahead of the new semester. The weekend brought fishing, campfires, and s’mores, along with plenty of good conversation and time together as a chapter. It’s retreats like this that remind us what brotherhood is all about. Refreshed, recharged, and ready for the semester ahead that’s the Phi Delt way! 🎣🔥🏕️

Our Canadian brothers took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at Kleberg, proudly accepting it on behalf of the @livelikelou4 foundation. They took on the challenge to honor every person and family impacted by ALS. The ice symbolizes what many living with Lou Gehrig’s disease describe as feeling “frozen” in their own bodies as the disease progresses.

Please like and share this post to keep the momentum going and help put an end to this disease. 🧊 🧠 #lougehrigsdisease #icebucketchallenge taken in Miami University by @phidelthalifax

From Halifax to Oxford, Ohio. 🇨🇦 ✈️ 🇺🇸. This past week, five of our undergraduate brothers— @oconnor_colin4 @benharps24 @callum.pipe @charlie.mcinnes @juneauz_a_g —traveled to Oxford, Ohio, the historic birthplace of our Fraternity, to represent Nova Scotia Alpha Chapter at the annual Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute and Canadian Summit.

Our chapter received an award and a bronze star. To maximize our chapter’s growth, our delegation divided and conquered three tracks. Our brothers established solid connections and expanded our network across multiple chapters. Alongside 1,000+ international brothers across North America, these five men engaged in leadership skills, strategic operational recruitment, and a renewed sense of purpose.

A massive thank you to the Kleberg Family, the Craig Scholars Program, and the @phideltatheta Foundation for the unforgettable experience. Build a legacy. Find your brothers. Choose Nova Scotia Alpha. ⚔️🇨🇦 Until next year, Kleberg! #PhiDeltaTheta #Kleberg2026 #NovaScotiaAlpha #rushphidelt taken in Oxford, Ohio by @phidelthalifax
