Flowers bloom when it is their time. They stand in grace and beauty. Many people don't take in their details or intricacies but they remain still. They freeze time and take your breath away if you actually appreciate what they are offering up. Yes, flowers have this magic. 🌷🌼🌻🌺🌹🌸

I talk and think about her every moment I'm breathing. My grieving process has been unique to me and as I'm learning, it is at my own pace which I've accepted and I will continue to be gentle to myself. This Thanksgiving will be our first without her, as she left for her trip to Trinidad a week after we had our family dinner together. I'm going to honour her as much as I can by remembering her words and how she loved us so much. 🤎🥧 I see myself now the way she always saw me. I've arrived. I know she is so proud.

HER words to me:
"Go to a quiet place and talk to God...you can always talk to Him as He already knows. He just want to hear it from you.💕"
Amen Momma

I wish you all could have met her. She is light, love, joy and fire all in one. Her soul is beautiful and she is magical. She is my mom and her birthday is today. My tears flow in honour of her grace and power and impact she left within everyone she met. I am who I am because of her. My heart misses you so much. You are forever my shero, light, love, and inspiration. 💜💫👑 by @phierce4thought

To those of you who have always showed up for me, encouraged me, supported me, sent me DMs with words to uplift, said my name in rooms I'm not in, invited me into rooms I belong in, captured content for me, shared, followed, loved...all of it.

I love ya'll.

45 years young and I feel like I'm just getting started. You are the youngest you will ever be today.

Start the thing, try the hobby, start the dream. ✨

P.S - Wish I tried golf when my mom ask me to in my 20s. But she would be so proud of me and my swing 🩷

Women who golf, fall golf, never too late, this is 40 by @phierce4thought

Meeting friends as adults can be hard…. But I found it even harder after becoming a mom.

@maturemotherhoodco and I met on Instagram almost 2 years ago and then we finally got to meet in person a year ago tomorrow and our first place to meet was going to church together

We had no idea that we would hit it off as well as we did and the most pleasant surprise was how much our girls love being around each each other and they are only six days apart.

Grateful for godly friendships, the late night, phone, calls, and texts, the support, being able to go to church together and to events and even just the park

Cheers to many more years ahead for both us and our girls
