And I Dance

Self portrait

I haven’t been doing great, but I think it will pass. It’s been tough but I know I’m tougher so we power through and dance.
This song covers how I feel. Shout out to @injuryreserve for making my favorite album of the year so far by @phil.does.art

This is the last piece I made in my portfolio. This represented being free from so much I called normal. So I chose the song “Texas blue” by @quadeca and @kevinabstract

Thank you for following this project. I can’t wait to be done posting this in a timely manner.

Based of the song “X” by @littlesimz . I just really like how the drum sound on this song. I think the eyes looking forward represent the marching the drum.

Based of the atmosphere of the song “free the frail” by @jpegmafia . The photo is of my family, waiting for me to be born. It made me think of family.

Based off the sound of the song “suspended” by @sampha . The digital feeling of his voice overlapping is what I feel makes this song so special. The feeling of being stuck in this ever more digital world.

Based off live performance of the song Turbines/Pigs by @blackcountrynewroad . I think the song shows a sense of freedom like wind passing through hair. Yet the freedom is focused into a turbine to power a strong emotional feeling.

This art is based off the song “TROPIC BIRDS” by Masayoshi Takanaka. The song shows a level of freedom I hope to capture with in the drawing. I started with scratch paper from water coloring and just let my mind wander.

This is the second piece in my AP art portfolio. The song by Earl Sweatshirt is a nostalgic feeling song that I tried to capture in this piece.
