“Whatever You Do Just Don’t Kill the Ball,”

my dad says, coaching me intently on the minigolf course. At four years old I take all my might and WHACK the ball as hard as I can.
“Aw Mel you killed it!” He says in playful anguish.
We follow the ball…HOLE IN ONE.

This series of popular expressions— challenged— is an ode to the question “what could happen if I only took my own advice?”

, plus an homage to my dad’s constant support of me since forever, even when I would do the opposite of what he suggested.

@niceaxemovie has received 3 nominations at this year’s @spookyempirefilmfest next month in Orlando! Best Actor, Best Practical Effects and Best Visual Effects.

We were inspired by so many practical effects driven horror films from the past ( An American Werewolf in London; Child’s Play; The Thing; Friday the 13th, to name a few), and to have received recognition of our own efforts means a lot to us.

Many thanks to our supporters, cast and crew who helped make this film a reality. Follow the film at @niceaxemovie as well as the terrific folks at our production company @bayoneentertainment 🎸😱🪓
