A few weeks ago I did the Midwest Arts XPO again to showcase "Bill W. and Dr. Bob". You get 15 minutes to get the show across to potential presenters .... and I think we did! At least I hope so.

Had fun prowling around Milwaukee with Steve Gelder (who plays "Dr. Bob")... great stories and company.

Third weekend of the "Bill W and Dr. Bob" tour was at Eastern Illinois University. Got a chance to talk with students and shoot a promo video for the show. Had only 2 performances there but both felt great - the show is such a good opportunity to deepen the work.

And my first billboard!

Second weekend of the "Bill W. and Dr. Bob" tour landed us in Iola, KS (about 2 hours away from Kansas City). Despite having two understudies go in at the last minute, the show went (almost surprisingly) well. I got to meet a lot of new people afterwards and hear some amazing stories. And while we didn't experience a tornado, we had a couple intense storms with a brief power outage. Kansas was a delight - love to return sometime!

A special thanks to Mandy Moyer and the Bowlus Fine Arts Center (@bowluscenter) for being incredible hosts!

First weekend of our "Bill W. and Dr. Bob" tour (at the North Shore Center in Skokie) is wrapped! Great to perform with everyone again - the audiences were amazing. This show (the story of the founding of AA) is such a pleasure to do - seeing how impactful AA has been and continues to be. by @phil_aman

Wrapped the final narrator/janitor part of "The Dark Library" last weekend - filmed at the Brookfield library (where I found the apropos book "I Want to Be in a Scary Story"). Also had a great dinner with Craig at Irish Times before the shoot. Just a few of us there.... really relaxed and fun! by @phil_aman

Had fun last weekend shooting for a half-day at "Tasty World" (yup, that's the name of the restaurant - sadly no time to confirm said tastiness) on the fake trailer for "05.28.16". Reunited with some friends and met a few new people - a pleasure to help out with the project!

Just returned from a table read of "God and a Gun" near Jasper, IN. Driving down there in a Ram 1500 pickup truck with thunderstorms in the distance set the right mood for this western: a thoughtful and hard-hitting follow-up to Query Production's "Cold Cross". It was fun to meet everyone and looking forward to this shoot happening around March 2027!

Some performance photos from Salomé along with behind the scenes (yup, guilty, I'm a napper) and our amazing Montrose harbor dock party (thanks Kelly!). It's only been a little over a week since we closed, but I already miss this crazy group! Thanks for the amazing time.

It's been a crazy journey from my visit to Oscar Wilde's childhood home in Dublin to opening his play Salomé at the United Church of Rogers Park. But, wow, am I grateful.

So honored to play King Herod with such a lovely, inspiring and talented group! Extra special thanks to Zoë Rutherford for her passion, drive and charisma, Seph Mozes for his effortless intelligence, patience and joy, and, of course, my lovely Herodias, Kelly Anchors, who is way too much fun to bicker with.

It's "pay what you can"

A little over two years ago, I met Nathan Mullin, Wilson Rouse and John Ryan on a short film called "Mindblower!" Soon after the madness settled over our collective heads that this short NEEDED to become a feature and our fearless leader, Nathan, set out on a long journey to complete a draft of this insanity. We recently all convened to read this delicious bit of dark comedy (cocktails provided by the incredibly adept John Ryan).... needless to say, I am excited! Here are some screen shots from the short! by @phil_aman
