Phil Ashcroft is a painter and graphic artist based in south-east London. His commission for Twr y Felin draws inspiration from the landscape surrounding St Davids, from the shifting light over Ramsey Sound and sunsets at Whitesands, to the dramatic coastline of Abereiddi.

The series also explores the contrast between nature and industry, with works such as Turbines (Wear Point) and Refinery (Milford Haven) capturing striking industrial architecture set within the Pembrokeshire landscape.

You’ll find Phil’s work in the Oriel Lounge, Blas Restaurant, and rooms 112, 102, 109 & 121.
