V and I met at a mutual friend’s farewell at a Manly venue called the Sugar Lounge, which no longer exists and the building appears to be currently under construction. A group, including @sarkavichova, then went to the Steyne for a drink where I shouted a couple of Kosciusko Pale Ales, only to be corrected on the pronunciation of the Polish explorer’s surname. This very normal night out would turn out to be the start of something very special. That evening was exactly 10 years ago to the day, so we returned for a quick snap 📸 🫶 @vyogini taken in Manly Beach, Sydney, Australia by @phil_prior

Marathon ✅
The process; the training and discipline was one thing. But it’s not necessarily going to adequately prepare you for the grind on race day, such was my experience. It was a GRIND. But I did it, with an artificial hip and all.
It’s something I definitely couldn’t have done without @vyogini’s love, support, coaching, program and race day crewing 🤍
An achievement I’ll be forever proud of 😊 taken in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory by @phil_prior

I am just in awe of what my life partner @vyogini has achieved - the hard work and dedication it took to get to both the start line AND finish line. Just truly inspirational. Just incredible. 110km ✅ taken in Mt Kosciuszko by @phil_prior
