update time. Micrometer measures intake can bent .002in…but it works out. for forced induction it pays to have a slightly higher lift in the intake side. poncams are both 260 degrees, but 9.15 on ext and 10.15 on int. Head notched for big cams, fitted with duel titanium 92lbs springs, new brass guides, reseated valves, coolant plugs caped off, & resurfaced, and titanium studs on cold side.
While the car is still with the welder, I had them trim up the trans tunnel to access the massive CD009 bell housing bolts. It’s mission impossible… by @phil_tha_thrill

Japanese body shops are notorious for cutting corners & my Skyline was no exception. Took it down to @newegypt_autobody & they’re doing it by the numbers! The wrap going on after is inspired by Nomuken D1GP 2005/06 Blitz ER34, my favorite drift car of all time. I met the driver a few years ago In Tokyo Auto Saloon. I’ll do another post about that. by @phil_tha_thrill

The Lotus 99T, w/ Honda RA166E turbo V6. The first active suspension vehicle. Lotus had history with areo/suspension, while Honda knew forced induction & high RPM. it didn’t perform well on paper, but was a break through & the tech is used in every league today. The car now is in Suzuka Circuit’s Honda racing gallery. My friend @vennomiss got me a video game with it on the cover. it’s my fav gift I ever received. taken in 日本鈴鹿賽車場 - Suzuka Circuit by @phil_tha_thrill
