my ep “the truth of living reality” is finaaaaaallly out now 🥹💚 this ep feels like the sequel to my last ep “the side-effects of living in a fantasy”. I wrote both of them in the same period of time, and it always felt like they belonged together. to me, they’re the sound of my early twenties. exploring myself, breaking my heart, falling in love, figuring out my identity and then changing it all over again a couple more times, falling into escapism, then obsessively trying to better myself and overanalyse myself. writing these songs, I felt like I got to know myself more than ever, even the parts I subconsciously spent years working very hard to ignore. special thanks to all of you who on worked on this ep with me, and an extra thanks to the ones who made “waste a life” with me ✨written by @anneroosroos and mekeys by @lukazmusic and meproduction by @lukazmusic and @anneroosroos guitars by @anneroosroos bass by @vincentmoes_ drums by @jur.kuijper mixed by @wiggy321 master by @robin.schmidt.mastering artwork by @jantinatalsma styling by @hesterarends by @philinemusic

a little over a year ago, @mellesongs @lukazmusic and I wrote “Remember Us” as a song for just me in the first place. I kind of forgot about the song for a little while and didn’t think I’d ever release it. but then, a couple of months ago, I Iistened to our demo again and called melle to ask him if he felt like turning it into a duet. it made me fall in love with the song all over again and I’m so happy we decided to bring it back to life. melle is one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever met and I am so so grateful we get to work together this much. very proud of how this one turned out, give it a listen 🧚🏻 by @philinemusic

surprise!!! on the 17th of july, I’m releasing a song called “remember us” with my friend @mellesongs 🧚🏻as some of you might know, I’ve been working on my debut album a lot with a couple of very talented people. one of them is melle and we’ve been working together for a couple of years now. it felt just right to release one more song together (our third duet!!) before my album is coming. we wrote “remember us” about the universal desire to be remembered and to leave something meaningful behind. whether it’s a memory, a feeling, or an impact on someone’s life, I think we all hope from time to time a part of us lives on. we are very excited for you to hear it, and to already give you a little tease, here’s us singing it live 💓 and cheers to a summer of releasing and making music with friends 🙏🏻#newmusic #friends #duet by @philinemusic

working, creating and living in between 🧚🏻 the summer has been treating me well so far (even though summer’s officially starting tomorrow) and I’m very much enjoying this wave of inspiration, spontaneity and creativity.
