THE ALAS OF PILIPINAS STANDS IN ARMOR. 🇵🇭⚔️

Mister Pilipinas Global 2026 MJ Ordillano wears Patrick Isorena’s one-of-a-kind Kurab-a-Kulang masterpiece, reimagining the historic armor of the Moro of Mindanao for a Filipino champion of today.

Born from the warrior traditions of Mindanao, the kurab-a-kulang once stood between its wearer and the violence of battle; now, its spirit finds MJ, turning an armor shaped by history into a portrait of Filipino strength made for the present.

A warrior’s heritage, reimagined for its next champion. 👑

CHAPTER II: WHERE THE SUN BECAME SACRED

She followed the sun to Egypt.

For the ancient Egyptians, the sun was more than light. It was life, power, renewal, and the promise of rising again.

Thousands of years later, beneath that same sun, Sophia carries a story that began far from these sands.

From the Philippines to Egypt.

Different lands. Different histories. One sun above them both.

And under it, she stands as Filipina. @sophiabianca_santos

CHAPTER I: WHERE THE SUN RISES

Before the world sees her, we begin at home.

A story inspired by the Aeta, among the Philippines’ earliest Indigenous peoples, and their deep connection to the land that has carried generations before us.

This is where Sophia’s journey begins. Rooted in home, carrying the Philippines with her as she steps onto the Miss Elite stage.

And from here, she follows the sun.
