So grateful to have had the opportunity to do the Lords Work in Guatemala this past week! As this being my first mission trip it was definitely a different experience. It was such an eye opener for me and you come to find out that the people you’re helping help you just as much as you help them. You see how happy and content they are even with just a house made out of wood and mud, little to eat, and little clothing. It makes you very grateful especially for the little things in life and it was almost hard to wrap my mind around some of these living conditions when all I saw from kids were happy smiles! It shows us that we can and need to be content with whatever we have and must remember the “WHY” behind it. Behind every circumstance in life God has a “WHY” behind it. I remember feeling drawn to this trip a few months ago and now that I’ve been I see the “WHY”. God has shown me so many great things through this trip that I wouldn’t see otherwise and I’ll be for ever grateful for those things!🙌🏻
