I proposed to Aliya with a ring I forged myself in secret. The most meaningful art piece and happiest moment of my life. I poured into this ring all of our memories and love. Every warm smile, every laughter, every voice and story. I carved into the ring two swords to symbolize us with leaf blades to represent life and peacefulness. The diamond is held up by entwined roots and antlers so show that our memories run deep but we are always growing and protecting each other. It is my most proud art piece, and it was completed when she wore it. I had this vision for so long and worked hard on it for over a year from designing it to finishing.
