Caribbean sunrise. The clouds in this photo are moving left to right. They never stop. Day and night they’re constantly coming in with the tradewinds. When they hit land to the right of this photo they go over the Yunque mountains forming the Yunque National Rain Forest. taken in Fajardo, Puerto Rico by @philipaperez

Late last year I had the opportunity to interview and photograph up and coming actress Paulina Chávez. We talked about how she got started in acting and her work Oscar winning actor Billy Bob Thornton and famed producer Taylor Sheridan. You can catch her on Season Two of the Golden Globe nominated Paramount + series Landman which premiers November 16. by @philipaperez

Some photos from my interview with actor JT Campos on a rainy day in July in Austin, Texas. We talked about the movie The Alamo, how he came to do stunt work for director Robert Rodriguez, and his iconic portrayal of the ruthless villain “Boaz” in the hit Netflix series Queen of the South. taken in Austin, Texas by @philipaperez

A few months ago I had a chance to see and shoot back to back shows of The Black Keys. The two main members are Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney. Two childhood friends with a passion for blues. I have to say their opening performance on the second night “I got mine” was probably the best rock performance I’ll ever see. I wish these guys nothing but the best. taken in Austin, Texas by @philipaperez
