My album “Pool of Thoughts” is now out! It was recorded 3 years ago, so it’s been a long process, but I’m very happy to finally share it with all of you.

The album features 4 tracks with my trio, and 4 tracks with a special nonette that I wrote a 4-movement piece for, titled “Cariad”. Cariad is a welsh word meaning love or beloved, which I found fitting.

The nonette features: @brage.b.seim (Cello), @maja_barrattdue (Cello), @nannasorli (Viola), @audun.rormark (Violin), @aasmund.moen (Percussion) and @oscarandreashaug (Trumpet), as well as my trio with @djtbag97 (Drums) and @hakhuldtnystrom (Bass).

I hope you enjoy my music! More to come. by @philipgranly

The second single «A Grey Day» from my upcoming album «Pool of Thoughts» is out! As with the previous single, it features my stellar buddies @djtbag97 (Trym Saugstad Karlsen) on drums and @hakhuldtnystrom (Håkon Huldt-Nystrøm) on bass.

Enjoy my melancholic Bach-esque chords until the whole album drops on June 12th!
You can find the single on all streaming platforms! Check it out! by @philipgranly
