One of my favourites as I was on this holiday too! Celebrating my best friend's 50th birthday with a girl's trip to Marrakech. Inspired by the rich culture mix of colour, pattern and design, this double-sided scarf has a 'day' and a 'night' side.
Vertical layout with the image flipping 180° in the centre, to read correctly when hung around the neck.
Luxuriously long at 200 x 50cm, 100% silk satin, 85gsm.

Capturing the chaos, crowds, colour, creativity and celebration of Glastonbury with a client's photos, plus scans of lanyard, programme, and wristband.
Double-sided design; vertical layout with 180° split in the middle of each side, so the images 'read' correctly when hanging down either side of the neck.
100% silk satin, 200 x 40cm.

Barbara's scarf. An 80th birthday present with a montage of cherished family photographs and found images of places, hobbies and flowers with meaning to the recipient.
A long, thin scarf, 160 x 30 cm; double-sided with a vertical montage in repeat on one side and a horizontal montage (of different images) on the other.

Paxos scarf. Commemorating a wonderful family holiday using client's photographs and a Greek key design as a border and throughout.
Double-sided with each side unique - the design reads vertically but splits 180° in the centre so both halves read the correct way up when hanging around the neck.
100% silk satin, 85gsm, 198 x 42 cm. A generous and versatile length.

Lucy's scarf. Private commission for a special birthday present. The recipient provided cherished family and personal photos, I scanned some images, took some photos onsite and we discussed their favourite things (places, art, TV, drinks, food, hobbies, music, etc.), which were included as found imagery.
One side is the patchwork of all the imagery and the other side shows those same images revealed behind a leopard spot overlay.
1m square, double-sided silk satin 85gsm.
The 2 sided design creates all sorts of options for wearing.

I am very excited to announce that I have silk scarves on sale in the Fan Museum, Greenwich. I was asked to produce a collection of designs using images of the beautiful fans in the Museum's own collection and the first 3 designs are now available in their shop, and online at this link: https://www.thefanmuseum.org.uk/shop/the-fan-museum-scarf-100-silk-twill

This particular scarf is 100% silk twill (16oz) with hand rolled edges; 75 x 75 cm square; printed in Macclesfield.

This project has been a delight and I am grateful to have been given privileged access to the collection.
