🏆 2nd place at the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation — Goodwood Revival 2026.
What an adventure !!! #
It all started with a beautiful idea: taking François’ Cessna 170B across the Channel and presenting her at one of the most iconic gatherings in the world.

After many hours of preparation — including a serious amount of polishing! — N2726D made it to Goodwood, surrounded by an extraordinary selection of historic aircraft.

And then came the surprise: 2nd place among 20 exceptional aircraft. 🥈✈️

A very special moment, and one we were lucky enough to share together.

A huge thank you to François Rallet for trusting me and bringing his beautiful 170B into this adventure, to Cathy and Valérie for being part of it, and of course to the entire Goodwood / Freddie March Spirit of Aviation team, organisers and judges for the incredible welcome and recognition.

From the flight to Goodwood, to the atmosphere of the Revival, the people we met and finally seeing this trophy sitting on the nose of the Cessna… this one will stay with us for a long time.

See you next year, Goodwood… and who knows, maybe this time from behind a steering wheel! 😏🏁✈️

Because I am a pilot on the Audi R8 LMS GT3 and also on the Porsche 992 Cup, I was able to anticipate and manage the situation.

Knowing two exceptional race cars inside out means understanding their performance differences, anticipating braking zones, trajectories, and driver reactions.
It means positioning your student in the right place, at the right moment, before the situation even becomes critical.

At over 200 km/h, nothing extraordinary.
Just my daily reality in the coaching side of my profession, in race cars.

This post is a simple reminder:
👉 every coach has their own level, and that level directly impacts safety and the quality of learning.
A diploma alone does not guarantee experience.

Motorsport is a high-risk activity.
Proper supervision and appropriate safety equipment are essential — even in so-called “road cars”.

Building performance step by step, accepting to feel slow in order to become faster, is part of the process.
A single hot lap means nothing without consistency, awareness, and traffic management.
