6 years ago I declared my faith and heart for Jesus publicly by getting baptized. We were at a conference and I decided I wanted Jesus to be a part of my life. But interestingly enough my life didn’t begin to transform until years later once I got planted in my local church @thelifechurchmemphis and our lives began to flourish. All that time I had been asking God to guide my steps, but I wasn’t willing to move my feet. I was stuck in the same pattern of sin and frankly, I was comfortable and content. I realized later on that declaring Jesus as my Lord and savior wasn’t enough. I had to put in the work. I had to repent of those sins and be obedient to what Christ was calling me to do. Now, I’m dancing on the grave that I once lived in. 😊

I am so excited to share that Phil and I, along with our life church family, will be going on a mission trip to pour into and serve our church family in FLORENCE ITALY. 🇮🇹The Life Church has transformed our faith and our lives and we are thrilled to serve and give back. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew this place was where we were meant to be. A few weeks later we were serving, and not long after that, I was offered a job on the kids life team writing curriculum and spreading the gospel with kids. 😊 Today I got to see Phil baptize people during service & it brought tears to my eyes. The realization of our spiritual growth that has happened in just 1 year hit me like a ton of bricks. It’s a true testament to the transformative power of faith & community. It’s safe to say that @thelifechurchmemphis has had a huge impact on our lives and our spiritual growth. So excited to see what the Lord has for us in Italy! @thelifechurchitalia
