May joy draw us together,
and questions stir us forward.

참여해주신 모든 분들의 응원과 흥 속에서
@lever_seoul 첫 번째 RITE(의식)를 마쳤습니다.

우리는 전자음악을 듣는 것에서 그치지 않고,
그 안에서 잠시 잊고 있던 질문을 다시 꺼내보고 싶었습니다.

이번 RITE는 헤르만 헤세의 『데미안』, 싱클레어의 여정을 음악과 회화, 공간과 2인극으로 풀어냈습니다. 경리단길에 위치한 서울살롱 (@seoulsalon_itw ) 안에서 서로 반대되는 것들은 겹쳐지고, 관객은 어느새 바라보는 사람에서 이야기의 일부가 되었습니다.

어쩌면 좋은 의식이란 새로운 답을 얻는 일이 아니라,
오래 잊고 있던 질문 하나를 다시 품고 돌아가는 일인지도 모릅니다.

Lever는 ‘흥’이라는 하나의 큰 주제 아래,
계절마다 새로운 질문과 서사를 꺼내려 합니다.

흥이 우리를 모이게 하고,
질문이 우리를 다시 움직이게 하기를.🙇‍♂️ by @phillip.windly

The Pets of Abraxas — I & II

Story:
If the god of both good and evil had pets, they might look like this. They appear when a person begins to collapse — when guilt, desire, fear, and longing all start speaking at once. They are not purely evil, and they are not here to save us either.

They watch.
They tempt.
They protect.
They disturb.
