It is with a very heavy heart and even though we are still in disbelief, we share the news of our grandmothers passing.

My Abuela was one of the greatest blessings of my life.

She showed me what love looks like through actions, not just words. She would take multiple public buses across Bogota just to pick me up so I could spend weekends with her. Hours of traveling, just to make sure I knew I was loved and wanted. She never complained — she simply showed up, again and again.

At her home, the smallest moments became the most meaningful memories. She joined every silly game we made up as kids and laughed at our jokes like they were the funniest stories in the world. She had a way of making childhood feel magical, safe, and full of joy.

Her kitchen was the heart of everything. The smell of her arroz con pollo will forever live in my memory. It wasn’t just a meal — it was comfort, warmth, and love served on a plate. Somehow, it always tasted better because she made it. I will never forget how she kept lemons ready for me to have and she kept a bottle of ketchup in her fridge just for me.

Even though she was our Abuela, she always let us call her Jaci. That small detail says so much about who she was. She wasn’t just our grandmother — she was our friend, our joy, and our safe place.

She shaped my childhood with laughter, kindness, and a love that never needed to be questioned. The sacrifices she made, the memories she gave us, and the warmth she shared will stay with me forever.

Abuela, Jaci… thank you for every bus ride, every joke, every weekend, and every plate of arroz con pollo made with love. Thank you for choosing us, always.

Gracias por tu amor infinito, por tu alegría y por todos los recuerdos hermosos que nos regalaste. Siempre vivirás en mi corazón.

Some people leave this world, but the love they gave us becomes part of who we are forever.

We spent our Saturday @The Grove for the Pink Palm Puff pop-up…😎💗🌴
The Teens are all officially living their best pastel summer life — drinks, pics, and way too much laughing.
A ten hour line did not stop us. We rallied and conquered our @pinkpalmpuff mission. Her second Birthday request was to go toilet paper someone’s house and have a sleep over. Bobby wanted no part in this 🤣 but my sister agreed to help be part of the fun. They came up with the idea of the hoodies and sunglasses. 🤓 they didn’t get caught and I will not reveal the master piece, but they did an amazing job. These sweet girls made her feel so special. She’s truly found some amazing girls who have become great friends. After the Whaley House, we had an amazing dinner and visited the cemetery- once again I was scared but powered on.
