🚜 Join farmer Marc Phillips for a guided tour and unique close-up look at the real time work happenings on the farm — the daily tasks, active projects, and hands-on efforts that keep the farm operational. Your visit includes a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the River Road fields, along with some walking portions. Meet at the Main Farm and drive in your own vehicle to the River Road field to board the wagon!
Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing 👣

Red onions are ready when their green tops naturally begin to fall over and dry. At that point, the bulbs have reached their full size and are left to cure in the field, allowing the outer skins to dry. This curing process helps improve storage life while concentrating their sweet, mild flavor. 🌱

Tracy has been busy preparing for our Everything Berry class! Fresh from the fields and into the kitchen, she’s putting the finishing touches on an evening filled with delicious ideas, practical tips, and hands-on inspiration.

During her demonstration, you’ll learn how to make refreshing berry shrubs, prepare savory berry side dishes, and soothe summer skin with a berry-inspired DIY face mask. 🍹🫐✨

And because no berry class would be complete without a sweet treat, everyone will enjoy a sample of Chrissy Phillips’ homemade gooseberry ice cream—and take some home to enjoy later! 🍨
