My sister is visiting Slovenia’s Ljubljana and has been blown away by how wonderful it is to be able to walk around a city with her kids without the constant fear of cars. I’d love to go visit! What a special place.

How amazing is this family trivia game? It was based on a real game called familial pursuits that asked general questions about a family. This family created a personalized version!

We know them and we’ll get it back to its owners soon but I love this and I think I will have to do it for my family!

There’s a letter with the game that asked each family member to contribute questions and answers in time for a first annual challenge match. They played in teams and made sure there was a balance of people born into the family and significant others.

I post a lot about Quakerism and a big part of Quakerism these days are Quaker schools. We have thousands of people graduating from Quaker k-12 schools and colleges every year! But our numbers as a religion in the United States are going down. Curious to hear from Quaker school grads about whether they would join a Quaker meeting or if they think of themselves as Quakers? ❤️

They provide an appealing and seemingly efficient way to learn about campaigns and ballot measures, allowing users to bypass the sometimes dizzying array of political literature, advertising and commentary coming their way. But some experts warn that the tools are far from foolproof: The results they produce can be marred by factual errors or shaped by flawed assumptions.”

And from another nytimes article: “Caucus AI ran an experiment to see how long it took for content newly published to Wikipedia to end up in a chatbot’s answer. The result: about 12 minutes. That suggests that candidates can already insert their own information into an A.I.’s responses by tweaking public information ‘quickly, unvetted and without anyone on the other side watching,’ the company wrote in a blog post about its findings.”

Loved visiting the Elklands Friends meetinghouse this morning for Quaker meeting for worship. This is just up past Forksville in Sullivan County, PA. They meet every Sunday at 11 am in the warmer months. They used to hold a Christmas Eve service but they are too worried about their chimney holding up to do it these days. There’s a cemetery on the field (behind where I’m shooting this video from) and there used to be a little Quaker school house, too.

Here is what @nycmayor Zohran Mamdani said “I’ll give you an example of those policies. We are willing to work with the federal government on more than 170 serious crimes if someone has been convicted of them.
