Art school to corporate to social work and building one of Philly’s most joyful queer spaces. Brielle DuBose - @divinedownes too! - does not do things halfway. 💫

Brielle joined us to talk about what it means to center marginalized bodies in fine art, the magic of a room full of queer people and why, if we forget to make space for joy, we forget what we’re fighting for. Philly Queer Life Drawing is for everybody. And right now, the city needs it more than ever.

Ticket proceeds go to mutual aid. The playlist goes hard. And when the model sneezes, everyone says bless you.

FRIDAY 🗣️ we’re thrilled to be showing works on paper from the legendary @phillyqueerlifedrawing sessions in the upstairs lounge <3 Philly Queer Life Drawing was created to uplift marginalized bodies and make figure drawing accessible to all skill levels. We aim to make a safe space for queer artists and models to experience the joy of live drawing and create community. To further our impact of creating space for joy and resistance, our ticket sales are donated to mutual aid groups around Philadelphia. 🌹
