To our customers, members, partners, and supporters—thank you for believing in our mission and proving that small businesses deserve a big stage. There were moments when I cried, prayed, questioned myself, and struggled to accept that this chapter was really ending. Because @phillyshared was never just a store. It was a vision I prayed over, that we built from the ground up, and poured years of sacrifice, love, and hard work into. And it was personal. I raised my children here. They watched me build, serve, struggle, celebrate, and keep going. This space became a part of our family’s story. So closing those doors meant saying goodbye to more than a business. I was letting go of a piece of our life. But God has been teaching me that sometimes He asks us to release what we love—not because it wasn’t good, but because He knows what’s next. So I stopped fighting it. I surrendered. Piece by piece, I watched it all leave, and somewhere in the process I realized: I wasn’t losing everything. I was making room. This time, I chose faith over familiarity, surrender over control, and obedience over attachment. You don’t have to understand the transition to trust the direction. Sometimes the door closing is not punishment. Sometimes it’s protection. Sometimes it’s preparation. And sometimes… it’s simply God creating space for something you haven’t even imagined yet. This process taught me to trust God more, make room, and simply let God show off! 🙏🏽✨ And to my best friend, @ceemalissa — thank you for taking a chance on us and believing in what we were building. We locked the doors to PhillySHARED for the last time today… and I cried. 🤎 Not because I’m unsure about what’s next. But because I know exactly what happened inside these walls. PhillySHARED Retail was never just a retail store. It was an idea we believed in enough to build. A home for small businesses. A place where entrepreneurs got to see their products on shelves, meet their customers, test their dreams and take up space. It became a place for events, conversations, collaborations, friendships, lessons, laughter, stress, long nights and some really beautiful memories. I watched businesses grow here. I watched people find community here. And somewhere in the middle of creating a space for everyone else, We grew here too. To every vendor who trusted us with your brand, every customer who walked through our doors, every person who attended an event, shared a post, told a friend, purchased something, encouraged us, worked beside us or simply believed in what PhillySHARED could be — thank you. You helped us turn an idea into something real. Closing this chapter is bittersweet as hell. I’m proud. I’m exhausted. I’m emotional. And I’m incredibly grateful. The retail doors may be closed, but the mission was always bigger than four walls. PhillySHARED taught us that we can build the room. And now we’re ready to see what happens when we stop being afraid to leave it. Thank you, PhillySHARED Retail For everything. 🤎 One last time — lights off. Door locked. Chapter closed. I came for the cocktails… and somehow ended up on the green. ⛳️🍸🥂 Saturday night was one of those Philly nights where I didn’t really have a plan beyond “let’s go have some fun.” Then came the golf balls, the tee, that first swing… and suddenly I was feeling like I knew what I was doing. 😂⛳️ The Strawberry Green Driving Range was the perfect backdrop for Courtside & Cocktails: Meet Me on the Green — golf, music, good food, networking, cocktails and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer. And because every good night out needs fuel… the food understood the assignment. 👏🏾 Then there was the canned cocktail. Then the champagne. 🥂 Because apparently I was celebrating every good swing. 😂 Swipe through because the golf sayings at the end pretty much tell the rest of the story. 👀⛳️ This is why I love getting outside my usual routine and trying something new.
