This one’s personal. Camden isn’t just someone I train — he’s family. And when I tell you this kid works, I mean it. Full send, every single time. If you’re looking for a great student and great Wrestler (on the mat and off it), this is who you call. by @philmrw

More Than a Medal: An Unforgettable Experience Proud of Her Roots, Proud of Her Journey 🇺🇸🇲🇽.

Proud and happy to share that my daughter, Mafer, was invited to represent IMME (Instituto de Mexicanas y Mexicanos en el Exterior). Born in the USA and proud of her Latina roots, she competed on May 27 and earned 3rd Place in the 50 kg Under-20 category at just 17 years old.

It was an incredible adventure and a truly unforgettable experience. We are deeply grateful to the IMME administration for this amazing opportunity, as well as to SoCalGrappling in California and Ronald Wrestler Academy in Mexico City for their guidance, support, and belief in her throughout this journey.

Morris Fitness in Alpharetta, GA, has been her home for the last four years. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has played a role in Mafer’s development and helped shape her into the athlete and young woman she is today. Special thanks to Coach Childress, Coach Trey, Coach Maggie, Coach Colby, all the Alpharetta High School coaches, and Track & Field Coaches Baron and Merine for your dedication, encouragement, and unwavering support.

This achievement is not hers alone—it is a reflection of the positive impact each of you has had on her life. We are forever grateful for your guidance and for being part of her journey

This achievement is only the beginning, and we look forward to what lies ahead. 🇺🇸🇲🇽💪🏽🏆
